Epilogue
An old, solitary house stood on the outskirts of the Academy City.
Inside, three men were gathered, deep in conversation.
“I hear the simple contract with the evil spirit sent to the Luna Ruins has expired,”
muttered the youngest-looking man with light brown hair, hands clasped behind his head, speaking as if it were someone else’s problem.
“Does that mean someone defeated that high-ranking evil spirit? Not bad. Who did it, Haunted?”
asked the man wearing a white mask, exuding an eerie atmosphere.
“Well, I don’t know. I just heard it was taken down,” Haunted, the young man, replied indifferently. In truth, he didn’t care much. While not completely uninterested, he knew that for someone with the right skills, defeating that evil spirit wasn’t particularly difficult.
“………… “
The masked man’s irritation grew at Haunted’s attitude, but before he could speak, the third man – a black-skinned, bald man – interrupted by producing a photograph.
“Rourke Areas. A second-year student at EEutrea Academy.”
“What? A student did it!?”
Haunted exclaimed in surprise. He never imagined a student could defeat that evil spirit.
Moreover—–
“And EEutrea Academy is where I’m headed next! Come on, let me see that photo!”
Suddenly very interested, Haunted turned his attention to Rourke’s photograph that his colleague had placed on the table.
“Heh, so this boy…”
“That boy is also a person of interest within the academy.”
“How so?”
“Apparently, he’s never summoned a contracted spirit to fight before. No one seems to know his true capabilities. He might be even more dangerous than Princess Misha.”
“Seriously!? This guy sounds super interesting!!”
A boy who had never summoned a contracted spirit had defeated an evil spirit.
This changed everything. Haunted’s interest in Rourke was reaching its peak.
“Nice. Maybe I’ll have a little fun while I’m on the mission?”
“I’ll turn a blind eye to some extent, but if your ‘fun’ causes the mission to fail, I’ll kill you myself,”
the masked man warned, driving the point home. Haunted, who had known him for a long time, understood well that he would indeed kill him if the mission failed.
“Don’t worry, I won’t mess up that badly,”
Haunted muttered. Then, with a smirk, he added:
“I’ll uncover that hidden true power of his.”
A new storm was approaching Rourke, who had just overcome the Academic Battle.

Afterword
Hello, I’m the author, Arasamu.
Thank you for reading “The Spirit Mage Thought to be Hiding His True Power, Actually Always Fights at Full Strength.”
As the title suggests, this work began with a simple idea: while there are many protagonists who hide their true abilities and are underestimated, we rarely see protagonists who are overestimated despite not hiding any special powers.
As a result, the protagonist of this work is someone who, for some reason, can’t form contracts with spirits in a world where it’s commonplace. However, because others around him aren’t aware of this, they assume he must be hiding an incredibly powerful spirit! Thus, he ends up being overestimated.
It’s exactly as the title says.
Finally, I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone involved in publishing this work.
To Katana Kanata-san, who provided the beautiful and cute illustrations for this work, and to my editor.
And above all, my deepest thanks to all the readers who picked up this book. I’m extremely happy to have been able to publish my own work like this.
I hope to have the chance to meet you all again.
